NWACC MEETING MINUTES APRIL 29, 2007 Rib Eye Restaurant
Clubs in attendance:
Vice President George Schwartz called the meeting to order at 9:30 am.
A quorum was established with six clubs in attendance.
A motion was made seconded and passed to accept the minutes of the last meeting as printed.
Dave Kaiser, Treasurer, presented the treasurer’s report and advised the group that we were right on target for the 2007 budget. There were no questions asked about the report, therefore accepted as stated.
Old Business: Confirmation of club events was requested by George. CGCC will hold their event July 13-15. Rose City will hold their event July 27-30. NWACC will hold two autocrosses at the Shelton airport, September 9th and one in October, the 4th or the 7th. The Marque club has reserved the 747 Plant September 9th and asked if NWACC wanted to run the autocross as CMCS is not interested. Discussion followed and no definite decision was made. This will be discussed further.
As you know Lona Hyatt resigned as President due to health problems and George has done a commendable job of running NWACC as an interim leader. Meagan Renick was nominated and unamously elected new NWACC President. Congratulations!
New Business: Under New Business the Member At Large was discussed. There was much discussion and the outcome is to have a Member At Large group with representation, and not set a number limit. This was a unanimous group decision. This affects Article II section 1 and Article III. These bylaw changes will be updated.
Meagan was ratified as new President. The next meeting will be June 3,2007 at the Rib Eye Restaurant.
George adjourned the meeting.
