** These events are non-sanctioned events.
Lonnie Ledbetter invited all to the Tacoma Corvette Club’s Open House on February 25th at Corvettes of Auburn. He also announced that their Leavenworth event was scheduled for July 7-9.
Nigel Wheway invited NWACC to
join in a joint planning session once per year to assure that clubs can attend
events in BC and US without conflicts. He also announced that the Whistler event
will be August 4-7 and that there will be another event June 10-11. More
information to follow within two weeks.
The last item of business was a discussion of Dave Kaiser’s proposal which reads:
The cost of an event certificate will be paid by NWACC on behalf of any NWACC club hosting a NWACC Competitive Points event, regardless of the type or number of the event. (This is an event that generates a “per entry” fee paid to NWACC. Non-point events, regardless of type, which generates a certificate fee, will require the host NWACC club to pay that certificate fee in advance of the issuance of the certificate.
Discussion was held and the determination made that this was an administrative change and not a by-law change. The motion was made, seconded and passed. All Reps must cover this information with their clubs explaining, like everything else, prices rise and NWACC needs the funds or the organization will be in jeopardy.
Jim Duschel adjourned the meeting at 1:00 PM.
Respectfully Submitted,
Barbara Waller NWACC Secretary.
