NWACC MEETING MINUTES
FEBRUARY 6, 2010
Puyallup WA Fairgrounds

Member Clubs in attendance:

     Classical Glass Corvette Club
     Corvette Marque Club of Seattle
     Rose City Corvette Club
     Mt Hood Corvette Club
     Corvettes de Olympia
     Glass Odyssey Corvette Club
     R-Vettes Northwest
     Columbia River Corvettes

All Officers were present.

President Dave Kaiser called the meeting to order at noon and with 8 clubs in attendance a quorum was established.

The minutes of the previous meeting were approved as written.

Len Tucker presented the Treasurer’s report

There was discussion that NWACC needed to remove Lona Hyatt as a signature on the bank account. Len Tucker, Ron Waller and George Schwartz are authorized to sign checks. The report was approved as given.

George Schwartz, Vice President gave his report, and asked that all clubs get their flyers out for their events so that they can be posted to the website.

All By-Laws submitted and voted on by the individual clubs passed. They will be added to the NWACC website.
Dave Kaiser asked for committee reports.

George reported on the autocross committee as follows:

     NWACC event dates and locations are:
          May 16 NWACC in Shelton
          June 20 NWACC in Shelton
          July 3 Columbia River Corvettes in Longview Judged Show and Shine
          August 1 Rose City Corvettes in Portland Judged Show and Shine,Concours, Autocross and
          Track Day at PIR
          August 13 Classical Glass in Dupont and Shelton. Judged Show and Shine and autocross
          September 19 NWACC in Shelton

 Autocross Committee
Randy and Chuck Spittal discussed some of the equipment that NWACC could purchase in case of equipment failure (ie.timing lights,etc).

There was discussion that the individual clubs conduct autocross inspections with their tag lasting for the current year. This would negate the need for a technical inspection at every autocross for every car. Chuck Spittal, Randy Free and George Schwartz will discuss further and present their findings when they have a firm recommendation.

End of Year Banquet
There was no End of Year Banquet report.
Insurance Committee Report
Dave Kaiser presented the Insurance committee report. The committee members are Dave, Paul Cap from MH , Dennis Montgomery from CMCS, Alan Cohen from RCC and Mike Marum fro CRC. They will be pursuing other insurance carriers to insure that the K&K insurance that we currently carry is competitive.
All clubs furnished a breakdown of the events that are anticipated in 2010 which would require insurance.
Jon Cox, NWACC webmaster, reminded all to submit event flyers, and asked that if anyone has a problem with the site to contact him so the error can be corrected in a timely manner.

Dave Ellingson asked that the member clubs support the bill regarding front license plates and to write to their representatives about this issue. All clubs agreed to discuss in their meetings.

The next meeting will be held on April 11th(9:00A.M.) at the Kit Carson’s restaurant in Chehalis,exit 56  off I-5.

The meeting was adjourned at 1:34 P.M.
