Old Business:

The question was put to the group as to who could/would step up and sponsor the NWACC YEAR END BANQUET.

Glass Odyssey volunteered to take it to their Executive Board the next week and to report back the answer.

NOTE:

Dave Ellingson took the challenge to the Executive Board and the approval was given for Glass Odyssey to host the NWACC Year End Banquet. Thank you Dave! This will be discussed in detail at the Rose City Event on August 2nd.

Tim Cox committed CMCS to host the 2009 Year End Awards Banquet.

Dave Kaiser explained the rules for the NWACC permanent numbers for Autocross. There was MUCH discussion and this will be trialed at the CGCC autocross and reviewed at the next NWACC meeting.

Elvira said that a Spokane Corvette Club wanted to be a member of NWACC for the insurance only for an event in the near future. She advised them no and the NWACC reps all agreed that this was the case. It was discussed that for a group petitioning to be a part of NWACC that 90 days would be the benchmark for attending to all of the paperwork.

There was also discussion that K&K Insurance was charging for events held at several locations on the same week-end instead of “just” the higher amount as they have in the past. This will be clarified by Elvira and reported back to the reps.

A public thanks to Glass Odyssey for chairing the Stennis Tour and for inviting the Corvette Clubs in NWACC to participate.

Rose City announced that they will no longer be mailing out newsletters as they ONLY email currently.

Dave Ellingson announced that on August 23rd there would be a Diablo Dam tour and all are invited to participate.

Dave also asked all involved in NWACC to petition their legislators regarding the front license plate requirement on Corvettes.

The meeting was adjourned at 1:00pm.

The next meeting will be at the Rose City Event August 12, 2008.
