Old
Business:
Competition
Code – George Schwartz presented a
document that he prepared that outlines how NWACC points are to be calculated.
It is detailed and has examples to follow.
It also contains details of what information must be included in the
summary sheets provided to NWACC. George
will not be running down missing items from the sheets this year.
It is not NWACC’s responsibility to track down unreported information.
It is very important that all event chairs know this and see that their
summary sheets are correctly and completely filled out.
No specific document format is required for submitting the information,
however, all of the required information must be included. George will be sending the guidelines to all event chairmen
within the next week.
George also has the
member-at-large applications and blank member card lists available for CMCS’s
event today. He will have the
member-at-large applications at all events this year.
It is $25 to join as a
member-at-large and allows a person to compete for year-end points.
George also has a copy of the
competition code available at the registration desk today.
He encourages all clubs to have information copies of the autocross code
available at all events.
New
Business:
George requested that anyone changing their email address PLEASE let him and Lona know.
Ron Waller reported that the year-end banquet is set for November 1st at the Fort Lewis Golf Club and will be hosted by Classical Glass.
Lona Hyatt noted that she has Classical Glass 5 Star (August 16 -17th) flyers available for everyone to take back to their clubs. There is also on-line registration available on CGCC’s web site.
George Schwartz reported that Corvettes d’ Olympia will know within a week if they are able to host an autocross this September. An announcement will be forthcoming after that.
Dave Kaiser noted that information on the NWACC & Mt Hood web site has been updated to include information on Mt. Hood’s September 13th Show-N-Shine/Concours event. He encourages everyone to come down Friday evening for the hospitality night as well.
