           November 7, 2009
           Pepper Tree Inn

          Member Club Represented:

        Mt Hood Corvette Club
       Classical Glass Corvette Club
       Rose City Corvette Club
       Corvettes de Olympia
       Corvette Marque Club Seattle
       Columbia River Corvettes

President Dave Kaiser called the meeting to order at 3:00 P.M.

The minutes were corrected with corrections of the spelling of Corvettes de Olympia and the location of the meeting was listed as the Casino instead of the Pepper Tree Inn.

Elvira Tucker presented the Treasurer’s report which was accepted.

The Vice Presidents Report was presented by George Schwartz which is covered under Old Business.

Dave announced that there would be an audit of the Treasurer’s books after the meeting and those interested should stay for a few minutes.

Under Old business, the Snell rating on Helmets was brought up and a rule change to change the rating in 2011 was written by George Schwartz and will be submitted to each club to vote on prior to the February NWACC meeting.

New Business:

Autocross committee report suspended as both Lona Hyatt and Randy Free were unavailable.

Wes Holmes reported that there are 99 people signed up to attend the banquet tonight. A bill for the NWACC contribution to the dinners will be presented to Dave at the dinner.

Nominations were opened for the 2010 positions of Vice President and Treasurer. There were no nominations from the floor, so that the previous candidates, George Schwartz for VP and Len Tucker for Treasurer stand and there will be no need for a ballot election.

Dave explained a trial change to the operating procedures will take place next year. He will add an Insurance committee, an Autocross committee and a Year End banquet committee. This will offset the load of the Vice president and the Treasurer and the Year End banquet will then become an NWACC committee. Volunteers for the Banquet Committee were Anne Cohen, Jon Cox and Barbara Waller. Autocross volunteers were Alan Cohen, Tim Cox, Tony Hyatt, Jeff Boerio, and Ron Waller. The Insurance Committee will be headed by Dave Kaiser the first year and he will seek volunteers

The following autocrosses have been scheduled with the Port of Shelton. They are not in stone but George has been told that the dates look good to the Port.

These are the dates:

      May 16
     Columbia River Corvettes
     June 20/July 18
     August 15  CGCC Club Event
     September 19

These are all scheduled for Sanderson Field. In addition there will be an autocross at PIR in Portland on August1 This is the Rose City Event

There was some discussion of lunches at the autocrosses and the consensus was that the clubs continue to volunteer to provide lunches and keep their profit. Rose City volunteered to host the May 16 Event.

Insurance costs for 2010 have not been announced and Dave will advise the clubs as soon as he knows. There was an error made in the collection of dues and NWACC had the funds to cover the expense which was $1.54 per member. Dave proposes two insurance meetings in 2010, one in the North and one in the South to go over all insurance policies and answer any questions that clubs might have. More on this later.

There were rule change proposals received from Jon Cox, George Schwartz and Dave Kaiser. They will be posted on the  website in the future, and the Vice president, George will be sending out final copies to all of the NWACC club representatives in all clubs. Please cover your club  with the changes aand conduct the vote which is to be brought to the February NWACC meeting.

Rose City announced that Roger Tooker is their new President. Congratulations!

The meeting was adjourned at 4:30P.M.

 The audit followed the meeting.

Respectfully submitted

Ron Waller 2009 NWACC Secretary.
