Change Proposal for NWACC By-Laws Submitted by Mt. Hood Corvettes 11/6/04 Currently, the members of the NWACC Executive Board are required to be club representatives in order to be elected to the Board. This precludes any other member in good standing of an NWACC member club from becoming an NWACC officer. This change proposal is a way to attract and recruit potential Executive Board nominees at election time. Current: Article IV – OfficersSection 1 Each officer must be a duly elected or appointed representative of a member club or a current paid Member-At-Large in good standing. If a Member-At-Large holds an Officer position, that position must be relinquished immediately when annual membership is deemed delinquent. Proposed: Article IV – OfficersSection 1 Each officer must be a member in good standing of a member club or a current paid Member-At-Large in good standing. If a Member-At-Large holds an Officer position, that position must be relinquished immediately when annual membership is deemed delinquent.
