NWACC MEETING MINUTES SEPTEMBER 16, 2007 Rib Eye Restaurant
Club members Present/Represented:
Vice president George Schwartz called the meeting to order at 9:45 a.m.
The minutes were approved as written.
Dave Kaiser gave the treasurer’s report, and noted that were are right in line with our projections. Dues Statements, and insurance bills, and membership bills were handed out to those in attendance. The balance are to be in the mail 9/17/07. Dave reported that the NWACC insurance rates for 2008 will most likely remain the same as 2007, per his conversations with KKK.
The September 9th NWACC Autocross was a huge success with 46 paid entries. The work to run rule seemed to work well and the same rule will apply for the upcoming October 14th Autocross.
There was a detailed discussion of ways to make the autocross better and George asked for written comments. There will be a meeting before the October 14th Autocross to cover all of the bases. All affected people will be notified. The registration for this event is on line.
The Nominations for the 2008 year for positions to be filled will be made and voted upon at the November 3rd meeting. Nominations to date are:
Please feel free to self nominate or ask your clubs for any nominations that they wish to put forward.
Please review the competition code, by laws, and constitution for any changes that your club would like to submit at the November meeting. They should be submitted 30 days in advance of the meeting to George Schwartz.
The Year End Awards Banquet will be held at Panorama City and is sponsored by CdeO. The flyer is on the website for driving instructions, times, etc.
IMPORTANT REMINDER: THE SEPTEMBER 30th AUTOCROSS HAS BEEN CANCELLED!
